This e-learning course is structured reading materials (part 1) and videos material (part 2). You can use the introduction to the course document to keep track of all the materials present into the course.
Part 1 – Reading material
You can start to study from the presentations. It is recommended to follow this order:
1- GUIDOS GWS1_Introduction.ppt
2- GWS2_MSPA.ppt, that seeks to give you the theoretical basics on the Morphological Spatial Pattern Analysis, MSPA.
3- GWS3_Features.ppt that explains all the GUIDOS’ features you can use
4- GWS4_Examples.ppt that supplies several useful examples for using a training data set: in particular how to execute a data preparation, use algorithms like MSPA, fragmentation, contortion, mosaic and export output data in GeoTiff Format. In addition to this, a detailed manual, several publications about GUIDOS will be supplied.
Part 2 – Video Material
Two videos, Video lecture part 1 and 2, will explain the theory behind the software. A third video will give you an example about how to use the software.
