The Kick-off event of Drought Risk in the Danube Region (DriDanube) project will take place on 16 March 2017 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The event will focus on the needs and challenges for drought management in the Danube region.

The 2017 Waterwise Annual Water Efficiency Conference will be focused on Delivering Water Efficiency projects and programmes. Once again it will provide an opportunity for key stakeholders within the water sector to come together to discuss how to further water efficiency in the UK. This year we are also delighted to be hosting a European ICT4Water Cluster event as an integral part of the conference.

DanubeSediment kick-off launch conference will be held in Budapest on 11 April 2017.
The Kick-Off Meeting will bring together representatives of the project partners and associated strategic partners from the five countries (Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Ukraine) that share the Tisza River Basin. The meeting will centre on: building a consortium-type spirit; agreeing on efficient internal management and communication processes; reviewing and detailing project activities and the project work plan; and agreeing on immediate steps underpinning the next six months of the project.

The event is organized jointly by the JOINTISZA and the DanubeSediment projects; both projects are co-funded by the European Union through the Danube Transnational Programme.
